| On August 8, 2012, in the Renewable Energy Development "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the NDRC declared that both PV power generation and application will focus on centralization and distribution. The 10GW distributed PV system target, 50% of the entire PV installation, has been set. It is anticipated that China's distributed PV systems capacity will see a steady increase in the near future. Government officials, industry association leaders, top managers from PV manufacturers, PV project developers, and grid companies, academia and researchers will gather at this forum in Shundeto discuss PV policy incentives, industry upgrades, techno-economy, management and market mechanisms. Information on the opportunities and challenges in distributed PV applications in China will be examined..
