Exhibitors actively participate in SEMICON China 2020
Since the epidemic outbreak first took place in Wuhan, China, under the strong command of the Chinese government, the Chinese economy has shifted from shock to active recovery. The semiconductor industry, which is at the core strategic position, from the overall status of Fab and OSAT, the main force of semiconductors in mainland China is affected by epidemic interference is basically under control. As of now, SMIC has achieved a return rate of more than 90%, and each production line and R&D line has achieved 100% operation. The production capacity is expected to be fully loaded in the first quarter. Huahong Grace currently ensures the normal supply of various equipment parts and production raw materials. The 12 newly purchased equipments were moved in on time, further increasing the production capacity of Huahong Fab2. At the same time, the overall production conditions of Huahong Fab1 and Hua Hong Fab3 were well stable. JCET said that the company's overall return rate has exceeded 90%. In addition, IDM maker Silan Microelectronics's 6-inch and 8-inch mass production also maintained 90%.
In general, the main Fab in mainland China such as Hua Hong Group, SMIC, CanSemi, GTA Semiconductor, Samsung(Xi'an) and other production lines have been operating normally since the Spring Festival, while the production lines in the epidemic center Wuhan such as the YMTC, Tianma, CSOT, and BOE are also operating normally. At present, the major domestic wafer foundries Huahong Group and the major packaging and testing companies including JCET, as well as major domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers including TEL, ASMPT, DISCO, ULVAC, VAT, ASML, KLA, NAURA, AMEC, Anji,CETC, Sinyang, SMEE, Chinese Academy of Sciences, CANON, SPIROX etc. have all confirmed their active participation.
Every year, many companies are waiting in the waiting list due to the SEMICON China booths sold-out. After the announcement of the SEMICON China 2020 new date, SEMI received a lot of calls and emails from companies, hoping to have the opportunity to exhibit in SEMICON China in June.
