Printed electronics uses printing technologies to make flexible and large areal electronic and optoelectronic devices and systems. It is a green manufacturing process and has become a new paradigm in electronic manufacturing. Printing is already adopted in OLED display panels production, printing is becoming one of the mainstream technologies for making sensors for IoT, printing is changing the way the printed circuit board (PCB) are made and printing electronics will have deep impact on traditional printing and packaging industries. Printed electronics on variety of flexible substrate materials such as plastics, papers and textiles will open vast possibilities of new applications.

China began its own printed electronics development in 2010 and held the first symposium that year. Since then, 9 symposiums have been organized and 2 international conferences (ICFPE 2014 and 2018) were hosted. These symposiums have stimulated the interests of Chinese researchers and industrialists to get involved in the field. In 2017, the international semiconductor industry association SEMI stepped into the flexible electronics field and setup the Flexible Electronics Working Committee in China. The Symposium then became “Flex China” which is one of the SEMI’s global FlexTech meeting series. This year, the symposium (FlexChina 2019) comes back to Suzhou again and will be held in Suzhou on 23-25 October, 2019. Built on its previous success, the Flex China 2019 will continue to serve as a platform for exchange of information and progress in the field of flexible & printed electronics. Internationally prominent scholars and market analyst will be invited to speak at the symposium. There are exhibition floors for companies and research organizations to display their latest technologies and products.

The FPE China symposium is under the umbrella of the 2019 China Nano Conference & Expo (Chinano), with several other events in parallel to be held in the same time and at same venue.

1 Renihold Dauskardt 美国 Stanford University Professor Human skin: the “seam” between our body and e-wear technology
Professor Dauskardt and his group have worked extensively on integrating new materials into emerging technologies including thin-film structures for nanoscience and energy technologies, high-performance composite and laminates for aerospace, and on biomaterials and soft tissues in bioengineering. His group has pioneered methods for characterizing adhesion and cohesion of thin films used extensively in device technologies. His research on wound healing has concentrated on establishing a biomechanics framework to quantify the mechanical stresses and biologic responses in healing wounds and define how the mechanical environment affects scar formation. Experimental studies are complimented with a range of multiscale computational capabilities. His research includes interaction with researchers nationally and internationally in academia, industry, and clinical practice.
2 杨军 加拿大 西安大略大学 教授 Build 3D Electronics into Porous Materials
Jun Yang is Professor in Mechanical & Materials Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, and Director of WIN 4.0 (Western’s Industry 4.0 Network) at Western University (The University of Western Ontario). He is Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE). His research interests include Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Printed Electronics, Metamaterials, MEMS, Flexible/wearable Electronics, Sensors and Actuators, Biophysics and Surface Science. He has published more than 150 journal papers. He holds 26 granted/pending patents. Three of his inventions have been licensed to industries for mass production. He has given ~ 100 plenary/keynote/invited talks on conferences, symposiums and workshops. Dr. Yang was a recipient of 2006 PetroCanada Young Innovators Award, 2009 Early Researcher Award, 2012 University’s Faculty Scholar Award, 2012 and 2014 Western Innovation Funds Award, Second place, 3rd China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, 2015 Xerox UAC Award, 2016 NSERC Discovery Accelerator Award, 2017, 2018, 2019 Western’s Vanguard Awards, and 2019 Engineering Award for Achievement in Research.

He participated in international standardization activities from 2012 and won the IEC 1906 award in 2018

7 郭小军 中国 上海交通大学 教授 Integration Processes and Signal Processing for Flexible Sensor Array
2002 年毕业于吉林大学获电子科学与技术专业学士学位;2007年获得英国Surrey大学电子工程博士学位;曾在英国Plastic Logic公司(现FlexEnable)从事印刷有机薄膜晶体管技术和柔性电子纸显示技术的研发工作以及量产线的建立。2009年8月加入上海交通大学电子工程系TFT-LCD关键材料与技术国家工程实验室,组建了印刷电子与柔性集成实验室,面向发展更为友好的“人-机-环境”界面电子技术,拟通过多学科交叉在核心器件技术(晶体管、传感、显示、能量获取器件)、混合器件电路设计、异质异构集成、以及新型制造工艺模式方面寻求突破。以第一/通讯作者在IEEE EDL/TED等期刊上发表60多篇论文,及顶级会议IEDM论文2篇。担任IEEE柔性电子与显示技术委员会主席,SID技术委员会委员,及IEEE TED、IOP Flexible and Printed Electronics、半导体学报等学术期刊的编委。
8 宋延林 中国 中科院化学所 研究员 Green Printing Technology for Manufacturing Functional Devices
Received Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry at Peking University in 1996. Then he conducted research as a postdoctoral follow in the Department of Chemistry of Tsinghua University from 1996 to 1998. He has been working at Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) since 1998. His research interests include nano-materials and green-printing technology, printed electrics and photonics, fabrication and applications of photonic crystals. He has published more than 300 academic papers in scienti?c journals, 2 books and 9 chapters, and has been granted more than 100 patents from China, USA, European Union, Japan and Korea, etc.

Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree of Applied Physics from University of Rochester in 2015. His thesis is about the interface and device studies of OLED and OPV. He joined Nanopotonica Inc. for the R&D of QLED as a Sr. R&D scientist after his graduation. He joined Visionox in the summer of 2017 and led the exploration of next generation display in Visionox.
10 杨伯儒 中国 中山大学 教授 Wearable E-Paper Technology for Future AIoT Environments
Dr. Bo-Ru (Paul) Yang is a professor in Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), China, researching on the flexible electronics and displays. In 2016, he won the SID Distinguished Paper Award. Before joining SYSU, he was working with SiPix-Eink for E-Paper as an RD manager. He is also an associate editor of Journal of Society for Information Display, JSID, and chair of flexible display and E-paper committee in SID 2018. He is also a committee of SEMI Flextech China, IMID (Korean SID), and IDMC (SID Taipei Chapter). He studied in Oxford University, Tohoku University, and National Chiao Tung University during his PhD, and also finished an MBA program simultaneously. He was working with SiPix-Eink during 2009-2012, developing the new-generation color E-Paper. Since Dec. 2012, he joined Sun Yat-Sen University, China, researching on the flexible electronics and displays, and co-worked with companies in Zhu-River-Delta area. In 2018, his team demonstrated a 30-inch active matrix driven flexible E-Paper.
11 沈国震 中国 中国科学院半导体所 研究员 面向可穿戴电子的柔性微型超级电容器的研究
中国科学院半导体研究所研究员,博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。1999年在安徽师范大学化学系学士学位,2003年在中国科学技术大学化学系获得博士学位。2004年2月-2013年2月分别在韩国汉阳大学、日本国立材料研究所、美国南加州大学以及华中科技大学从事科研工作。2013年加入中科院半导体所超晶格国家重点实验室工作,任柔性传感与系统集成技术课题组组长。长期从事低维半导体材料与相关柔性器件的研究工作,迄今在Chemical Society Reviews, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters等国际权威期刊发表SCI收录论文200余篇,所发表的文章被引用超过一万五千次,论文的H指数为70。先后获中国材料研究学会科学技术一等奖、北京市科学技术二等奖、茅以升北京青年科技奖等奖励和荣誉。现任英国huangjia 化学会会士、中国材料研究学会理事及学术期刊Nanoscale Research Letters、半导体学报等十余种国际期刊副主编/编辑等职。
12 林媛 中国 中国电子科技大学 教授 Flexible electronics based on oxide thin films
1994年毕业于中国科学技术大学物理系,获学士学位;1999年在中国科学技术大学获得博士学位,其后分别在中科院北京物理所、美国休斯顿大学、美国Los Alamos国家实验室从事博士后研究。2006年起任美国Intel公司封装测试技术研发中心高级工程师。2008年入选教育部第九批“长江学者”特聘教授,随后回国到电子科技大学工作,同年晋升教授。2009年入选四川省“百人计划”,2014年入选科技部“中青年科技创新领军人才”, 2016年入选中组部“万人计划科技创新领军人才”。因其在教学科研工作中的突出贡献,分别于2014年和2016年荣获“四川省三八红旗手”和“全国三八红旗手”荣誉称号。2018年入选国家杰青。担任《半导体学报》和《硅酸盐学报》编委。其主要研究方向为信息功能薄膜器件,着重于在不同衬底上利用不同的方法制备高质量性能可控的电子信息薄膜,构筑功能薄膜电子器件,该方向是实现微电子系统小型化和片上一体化的核心。已取得了一系列创新性成果,承担和参加若干国家级科研项目。相关研究成果已获授权中国发明专利5项,美国专利4项,待授权中国发明专利10余项,并先后在Nature Mater.Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Advanced Materials、ScientificReport、J.Mater. Chem.C、Appl. Phys. Lett.等高水平国际期刊发表SCI论文90余篇,SCI他引超过900次,h-因子达到20。
13 兰红波 中国 青岛理工大学 教授 电场驱动3D打印在柔性与印刷电子中的应用
山东省增材制造工程技术研究中心主任,青岛市 3D 打印工程研究中心主任。国务院政府特殊津贴专家,教育部新 世纪优秀人才,山东省有突出贡献的中青年专家,青岛市首批创新领军人才。中国机械工程学会增材制造(3D 打印)技术分会常务委员,国际标准化组织(ISO)增材制造(ISO/TC261)标委会委员,全国增材制造标委会(SAC/TC562)委员。主要的研究方向:微纳尺度 3D 打印、增材制造(3D 打印)、微纳制造、数字化设计与制造等。先后主持国家自然科学基金纳米制造的基础研究重大研究计划、国家自然科 学基金面上项目、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划、山东省重点研发计划等 13 项纵向项目。以第一完成人获山东省技术发明二等奖 1 项,中国产学研合作创新 奖 1 项。出版英文学术著作 1 本,参编英文学术著作 5 部 (Book Chapter);以第 一发明人获得美国发明专利 2 项,中国发明专利 35 项;美国、日本、瑞典、墨 西哥等地举办国际学术会议大会报告和特邀报告 12 次;先后在 Nano Today、 Applied Physics Letters、International Journal of Production Research、中国科学、 机械工程学报等本领域顶尖期刊以及国内外重要学术期刊和国际会议上发表学术论文 86 篇,其中 SCI/EI 检索 71 篇,所发表文章累计被引用 1000 多次。获得 软件著作权 2 项,制定增材制造国家标准 3 项。

教授,博士生导师,中南大学物理与电子学院副院长。湘潭大学学士,中科院长春应化所博士。先后在英国华威大学、澳大利亚墨尔本大学、澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织从事研究工作。2012年回国工作,2013年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划,2014年获得湖南省杰出青年基金资助,2018年入选国家万人计划青年拔尖人才。在Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. 15 兰林锋 中国 华南理工大学 教授 用于驱动有源显示的喷墨打印氧化物TFT阵列背板
华南理工大学研究员、博士生导师,珠江学者,教育部首批全国高校“黄大年式”教师团队成员,国际信息显示协会(北京分会)技术委员会委员。从事主动式有机发光二极管(AMOLED)显示、柔性显示、印刷显示等方面的研究工作,在薄膜晶体管(TFT)的半导体有源材料、TFT器件结构以及TFT-OLED阵列集成技术等方面的研究上取得了一系列研究成果。开发出高迁移率、高稳定性的稀土掺杂氧化物半导体材料(Ln-IZO),迁移率可达50 cm2/Vs,并利用Ln-IZO驱动了国内首块氧化物TFT驱动的彩色AMOLED 显示、国内首块透明显示和国内首块彩色柔性显示,展现出良好的可靠性和再现性;相关成果获得广东省技术发明一等奖。发表SCI论文100多篇,被引用2000多次。编写论著《印刷显示材料与技术》(科学出版社),获得国家出版基金的资助。获国家授权发明专利30多件。
