| SEMICON China 2017 Upates |
★Important notice：During SEMICON CHINA 2017, SNIEC will no long provide hanging structure service
With the increasing growth of SEMICON China, Some special designed booth are using hanging structure which brings serious safety issue but also much delay the move-in process. According to the regulation from the show venue (SNIEC), the venue will no long provide hanging structure service to all SEMICON China raw space exhibitors. All booths are required to be built from the ground only without any hanging structure. The booth height limit is at 4.4m as past for Hall W. The booth height limit is at 3.5m for Hall T1. This change will apply to all exhibitors without any exception.
Attention: Exhibitors in Hall T1 please refer to Outside Exhibition Hall Notice.
★Hall Management Fee
Exhibitor who contracted Raw Space in SEMICON China 2017 are subjected to a Hall Management Fee (RMB 20/sqm) per rules published by SNIEC. All raw space exhibitors are required to pay the Hall Management Fee to official contractor. MEGA EXPO before March 5th, 2017. MEGA EXPO will transit it to SNIEC
★SEMICON China 2017 Safety Measurament
-- All raw space exhibitor's contractor must submit the contractor's license. The electrician must has the electrician certificate and the copied documents should be the same as the electrician operating on the show site.
-- All raw space exhibitors must assign a full-time employee to be the safety construction manager to coordinate safety construction and monitor the entire working process. Please finish and return the Form 3 (Safety Construction Manager Registration Form).
-- Exhibitors who rent raw space can appoint their own contractors to set up the booth. Please ensure you and your contractor read and observe all the rules & regulations in the 《Safety Construction Guideline》. For details please refer to EAC Inspection & Move-in Processor Section 5 in Exhibitor Service Manual. |

Hotel Reservation
It will be better for you to reserve hotel as soon as possible because of the hotel peak-season during SEMICON China 2017. SEMI, working with our service partner Shanghai Vision Expo & Meeting Solutions Co., Ltd. has negotiated with several hotels to provide you favorable price. Please download Hotel Reservation Form or make your Reservation Online to book your room before Feb. 6, 2017.
Back Wall Construction Guideline for Decorated Booth
All decorated booths, except island configurations, must provide a full back wall, minimum of 2.4 meters (8”) in height. All exposed walls must be finished on all sides at the expense of the exhibitor who owns the walls. All exposed wall areas or exposed structures must be covered by white PVC cloth without any break, contamination, graphics or texts. If the back wall did not meet the above requirements, penalty will be deducted from the construction deposit.
