  薄膜组件包括:硅基, 铜铟镓硒, 染料敏化和有机电池组件

本数据库归纳的部分主要结论:

• 2012年全球组件产能81GW,达到历史最高水平;但是产能利用率只有48%,是2006年以来的最低值。

• 由于2012年在全行业的大面积倒闭与兼并重组,2013年全球组件产能预期下降到72GW,下滑13%。

 
• 2012年全球多晶硅产量260KMT,产能利用率62%,在各产业段中居首,其它的产业段(铸锭、硅片、电池和组件)的产能利用率在50%左右。

• 2012年全球晶体硅组件产能67.5GW,占全球光伏组件的83%;薄膜和聚光光伏组件的产能分别为12.7GW和800MW。

• 2012年全球薄膜组件产能12.74GW,其中硅基薄膜组件以7.23GW的产能排在薄膜类组件的首位,但产能利用率只有32%,低于铜铟镓硒和碲化镉组件的产能利用率。

• 中国、美国和日本分别以49GW、6.7GW和6.0GW排名2012年全球前三位,日本的产能利用率62%,高于中美两国。


• 2012年中国光伏制造的产能/安装量比值为10.5,高出全球平均水平的4倍。到2015年,中国和全球的此数值将会降到7.7和1.7。

 SEMI to Release Worldwide PV Manufacturing Database

SEMI has developed a PV industry database focusing on global upstream manufacturing capacity and production data since 2004.Now the database is now available and providing valuable data and analysis to those who are concerned about the rapid changing PV industry, including:

• Manufacturers of PV modules, cells, wafers and poly-silicon who are facing issues like making both long term strategic planning and short term operating decisions
• Production Equipment Manufacturers looking to have access to their customer base and make market research and sales forecasting
• Raw material and component suppliers wishing to understand their customer base and make sales forecasting
• Both foreign and domestic potential investors looking to have access to primary manufacturing and market data to make market research

You also can find answers to widely discussed questions in the PV industry through this database and related analysis:
          

• What is exactly the utilization of each PV value chain segment?
• To what extend does the PV manufacturing capacity oversupply the market demand?

Parts of the key points summarized form the database are:

• PV module capacity reached record high of 81GW globally in 2012 but the utilization of 48% hits the second lowest since 2006.

• The annualized capacity in 2013 is expected to be slashed 13% from 81GW to 72GW due to the widespread consolidation happened in 2012 and to be continued in 2013.

• The estimated global poly silicon production in 2012 is about 260 KMT with the highest utilization of 62% among the PV value chain segments. At the same time, overall wafer, cell and panel industry capacity utilization is only around 50%.

• c-Si based module still weighs a large portion of the whole module capacity with the value of 67.5GW in 2012; thin film module and CPV module capacity is about 12.7GW and 800MW, respectively.

• Amongst 12.74GW thin film module capacity in 2012, silicon based thin film module ranks top one with value of 7.23GW,but the utilization is only about 32%, lower than other types of thin film module capacity utilization.

• China, the US, and Japan ranked top three by module capacity in 2012 (49GW for China, 6.7GW for US and 6.0 for Japan) . Japan stands out with the highest utilization of 62%.

• 2012 PV supply/demand(module capacity over PV system installation) ratio for China is 10.5 which is almost 4 times the value for global, the figure of China and global at 2015 is expected to be 7.7 and 1.7, respectively.
